This was a recipe I got from an old high-school friend. These cookies are perfect for fall and the cinnamon and oatmeal smell will fill your entire house while you are cooking them!
Ingredients:
3 cups flour, preferably half whole wheat and half white
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 1/4 cups milk
1 cup oil
3/4 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
4 cups uncooked oatmeal
2 eggs or 4 egg whites
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup raisins or 1 cup craisins
Directions:
1. Pre-heat over to 350 degrees F.
2. Grease a large cookie sheet.
3. Combine all of the above ingredients in a large bowl.
4. Form small balls out of the mixture and place on the cookie sheet.
5. Bake until golden brown.
