Oatmeal Breakfast Bars

Was looking for something my teenager would eat in the morning. You can easily change this up with coconut, choc. chips, nuts, ect.
Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
2 1/4 cups quick oats
3/4 cups raisons (&/or nuts, coconut, choc. chips, ect.)
3 tbsp ground flax
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup butter or vegetable oil
1 cup brown sugar or 1/2 cup splenda br. sugar
1 cup unsweetened apple sauce, or juice (any kind) & grated zucchini
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
13x9 pan lined with parchment or sprayed
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350*
2. Combine flour, oats, raisins, flax, b.soda,cinnamon & salt in mixing bowl.
3. beat butter and sugar together in separate bowl.
4. Add apple sauce, vanila & eggs to butter mixture and mix thoroughly.
5. Combine mixtures, it will be thick.
6. Press mixture evenly into pan. Bake 18-22 minutes until firm.
7. cool in pan until room temp. to set.
8. Remove from pan and cut into 16 equal bars.
