Oat bran adds fibre to this delicious bread. You may leave out the gluten but the bread will be denser. Makes a 2 lb. loaf. Recipe from Donna German.
Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups water
2 1/2 tablespoons butter or 2 1/2 tablespoons margarine
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup oat bran
2/3 cup oats
3 cups bread flour
2 tablespoons vital wheat gluten (optional)
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast
Directions:
1. Add ingredients to bread machine pan in order given, or according to your machine instructions.
2. Set on whole wheat cycle.
