Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oat bran
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees F.
  2. Spray 9x5x3 inch loaf pan with pan spray.
  3. Mix oat bran, dates,dry milk, molasses, hot water, butter and egg substitute in large bowl; Stir in remaining ingredients.
  4. Spread into prepared pan, bake 30-40 minutes; until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  5. Cool 5 minutes, loosen sides; remove from pan let cool completely before slicing.
