Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Process flour, bran, oats ,soda and butter until crumbly.
  2. Add sugar, egg and enough of the water to make a firm dough.
  3. Knead dough on lightly floured surface until smooth; cover, refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to moderate (180 D. Celcius). Grease oven trays and line with baking paper.
  5. Divide dough into half; roll each half between sheets of baking paper to about 5mm thickness. Cut into rounds and place 2cm apart on tray.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes. Stand biscuits on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring to the wire rack to cool.
