Nutty Chocolate Caramel Delights |

These are incredible and loaded with great flavors. A huge hit around my house. Enjoy Ingredients:
1 package german chocolate cake mix |
1 cup chopped pecans |
1/3 cup plus 1/2 cup evaporated milk divided |
3/4 cup butter melted |
14 ounce package vanilla caramels unwrapped |
1 cup semisweet chocolate morsels |
Directions:
1. In large mixing bowl combine dry cake mix, pecans, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and melted butter.
2. Press half the batter into bottom of a greased rectangular glass baking dish.
3. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 8 minutes.
4. In top of a double boiler over simmering water melt caramels with remaining milk.
5. When caramel mixture is well blended pour over baked layer then cover with chocolate morsels.
6. Pour remaining batter on top of morsels then return to preheated 350 oven and bake 10 minutes.
7. Let cool before cutting into squares.
