Not Your Grandmas Pea Salad

This is a real easy, pea salad that has just a bit of a twist to it. This goes over really well at potlucks, and I make it often fot the local senoir center lunches. You can use any type of cheese, i often use cheddar or colby jack.
Ingredients:
1 lb frozen green pea, thawed
1 small red onion, chopped
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
1 (2 ounce) jar pimientos, drained
2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
2 tablespoons celery, finely choped
2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1/2 cup baby shrimp, cooked and cooled
1/2 cup shredded cheese
1/2 cup ranch salad dressing
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients. chill for two hours.
