Unbelievable, Paula Deen outdid herself with this one. You will never go back to those little round vanilla cookies again!! You must try this, my family expects it now at EVERY get together, I recently tried switching to the fat free/low fat version, family didn't even notice! Read more !!
Ingredients:
1 12-ounce container frozen whipped topping thawed, or equal amount sweetened whip
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
2 cups milk
1 5-ounce box instant french vanilla pudding
6-8 bananas, sliced
2 bags pepperidge farm chessmen cookies
Directions:
1. Line the bottom of a 13x9x2-inch dish with 1 bag of cookies and then a layer bananas
2. In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix, blend well using a handheld electric mixer
3. Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth
4. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture
5. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended
6. Pour the mixture into the baking dish over the cookies and bananas, add another layer of the remaining cookies. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
