Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

  1. Cream sugar, oil and eggs. Sift flour and soda together, add to first mixture, blend well. Stir in apples and nuts.
  2. Bake in 8” square pan 350 until golden and top springs back when touched, about 25 - 30 minutes
  3. Recipe may be doubled and baked in 9” x 13” pan.
