No Rise Yeast Rolls

I haven't tried this recipe, but it looks so easy to make at the last minute because there is no rising time needed. This would be easy to put together in a mixer with a dough hook.
Ingredients:
1 (1/4 ounce) package dry yeast
2 cups warm water
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup crisco
1 egg
4 cups self rising flour
Directions:
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
2. Add sugar and Crisco.
3. Add egg, then flour and beat.
4. Spoon into ungreased muffin tins to 3/4 full.
5. Bake at 400° for about 13 minutes or until done.
