Ingredients:
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 quart plus 1 cup whipping cream
3 cups milk
3 tablespoons vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Beat eggs in a large bowl at medium speed of an electric mixer until frothy. Gradually add sugar; beat well. Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
2. Pour mixture into freezer can of a 5-quart hand - turned or electric freezer; freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. Let ripen at least 1 hour before serving. Scoop into individual bowls.
