No Bake Macaroni and Cheese Kids Love

It is just a simple mac and cheese recipe I make and the kids do prefer it over the box and other mixes.
Ingredients:
1/4 stick of butter, melt on low heat
1/4 cup flour
4 cups 1% milk
1 lb cheddar cheese
4 cups elbow macaroni
Directions:
1. Cook 4 cups (dry elbow macaroni; it will double in size) Set aside
2. Cube the pound of cheddar and set aside
3. Melt the butter over low heat. When the butter is melitng a whitish colored start adding the flour stirring it in. Start adding the milk a cup at a time stirring it in. When those are mixed start stirring in the cheese. The milk can burn on the bottom so it cannot be left unattended. When the sause is mixed you can add the macaroni. If you like it saucy serve immediately; the longer it sits the more it thickens.
