No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars (Reeses Bars)

This has to be the easiest Reese's-type bar around. I always have these ingredients in my pantry so they don't require any planning ahead. And best of all they don't require baking. Especially a great treat on hot summer days when you want something sweet but don't want to heat up the house. I've also given these as holiday gifts and friends always ask for the recipe. They also make a big pan (jelly roll size) so they are great for pot lucks as well.
Ingredients:
2 cups peanut butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 lb confectioners sugar, sifted
1/2 cup butter, melted
12 ounces chocolate chips, melted (1/2 milk and 1/2 semi-sweet)
Directions:
1. Butter 10X15 pan.
2. Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips and mix well.
3. Press into prepared pan.
4. Melt chocolate chips and spread over the top of peanut butter mixture.
5. Keep refrigerated.
6. Score, cut and serve.
