No-Bake Cereal Bars

This is my adopted recipe. I haven't made it yet.
Ingredients:
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
6 cups cheerios toasted oat cereal
1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Lightly grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
2. In large saucepan, combine corn syrup and sugar.
3. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
4. Cook until sugar is dissolved; remove from heat. Add peanut butter; stir until mixture is smooth.
5. Add cereal; mix well.
6. Immediately press into greased pan.
7. In medium saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips, stirring constantly.
8. Spread evenly over bars.
9. Refrigerate 10 to 15 minutes, or cool completely at room temperature until chocolate is set. Cut into bars.
