Nigerian Okra Soup

A healthy delicious Soup to be eaten with Pounded yam, ground rice or white rice
Ingredients:
2 cups water
2 tbs palm oil
100 g onion, diced
2 cloves garlic
1 lb okra, chopped
1 salt
30 g scotch bonnet pepper, chopped
1 tsp curry powder
2 stock cubes, chicken
1 lb chicken drumsticks
150 g mushrooms, halved
300 g spinach, chopped
2 crabs, legs removed, split in two
1 tsp thyme
60 g dried shrimp
200 g shrimp
Directions:
1. prepare all ingredients b4 cooking
2. place large pot on heat,
3. add water
4. add onions, garlic, pepper, chicken (or any meats or fish of choice), palm oil & crab
5. crumble in stock cube
6. add ground dry shrimp (crayfish)
7. add either precooked shrimp and/or dried large red shrimp
8. cover let simmer for 30 min
9. add chopped okra and mushrooms cover let simmer on low/medium heat for 10 mins
10. add spinach cover simmer for 5 mins
