A healthier version of the old classic. I didn't include bread in this recipe because not everyone wants bread. Of course you can hollow out a round loaf, put the dip in there and use the remainder of the bread to dip - that's my preference too! If not, you can dip veggies in it or even spoon the dip on to romaine lettuce leaves, which are stiff enough to support a little spinach dip. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed well
1 cup low-fat sour cream
1 cup low-fat mayonnaise, hellmann's preferred
1 1/2 ounces knorr vegetable soup mix, 40g dried package
1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, chopped
Directions:
1. Mix ingredients well.
2. Serve in hollowed out bread or bowl, as mentioned in the description.
3. Best if made the day before and refrigerated so flavours have time to meld.
