Spicy appetizer using everybody's favorite..VELVEETA! Assembly is a tad labor-intensive but well worth it!
Ingredients:
1 pound ground chuck
1 pound hot italian sausage
1 pound velveeta, cubed
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 loaves pepperidge farm party rye bread
Directions:
1. Cook the hot sausage in a skillet, breaking it up as you go.
2. When sausage is at the halfway point of being finished, add the ground chuck and cook, breaking it up as you go.
3. Add the oregano, Worcesterhire sauce and garlic powder to skillet.
4. Stir to blend
5. Sprinkle (?) cubes of Velveeta around the skillet.
6. Turn heat to low.
7. Cover skillet.
8. Melt cheese.
9. Stir mixture well to distribute Velveeta.
10. Spread on bread slices.
11. Freeze on trays.
12. Preheat oven to 350.
13. Bake frozen slices for 25 minutes.
