I found this on the pillsbury site and modified it to our tastes. I had a little ham left over, so I used that. Bacon would be another topping for us, or maple flavored sausage. I also had mexican blend cheeses and would probably also use Italian blend. Read more . It's a basic recipe and the sky's the limit.
Ingredients:
1 package bulk sausage (or 1 1/2 cup chopped ham or 1/2 cup crumbled bacon)
1 can pillsbury crescent roll
1 cup hash browns, frozen (or fresh grated potato)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or any cheese blend)
3 or 4 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons milk (i used sour cream, gives it an extra zip)
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375°F.
2. Into 8-inch skillet, crumble sausage. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until no longer pink; drain. (or prepare your meat of choice as necessary)
3. Unroll dough. Place in ungreased 13x9-inch pan. Press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust; firmly press perforations and edges to seal.
4. Spoon meat evenly over crust.
5. Sprinkle with potatoes and cheese.
6. Beat eggs in medium bowl. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour over cheese in crust.
7. Bake 18 to 23 minutes or until center is set and edges are deep golden brown. If desired, serve with salsa.
8. Cover and refrigerate any remaining pizza.
9. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change.
