Ingredients:

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Saute the onion until soft.
  3. Stir in the flour and the broth until mixture is smooth.
  4. Add chiles, garlic, cumin and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, adding salt if desired.
  5. Yield: 2 cups.
  6. To make a yummy chip dip, combine 1 cup of sauce with 1/2 pound browned ground sirloin and simmer on low for 15 minutes.
