A refreshing low-calorie dessert-great for entertaining! Ingredients:
3 cups strawberries, hulled |
4 slices angel food cake |
1 1/3 cups non-fat vanilla yogurt |
1/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips (chocolate shavings can be substituted) |
Directions:
1. Add 1 cup of strawberries to a blender container to a blender container or food processor bowl. 2. Cover and process until nearly smooth. 3. Slice remaining strawberries. 4. Drizzle berry puree onto 4 dessert plates. 5. Place cake slices on top of puree. 6. Top each with frozen yogurt. 7. Sprinkle with 1 T. 8. chocolate pieces. 9. Top with remaining strawberries. 10. Serve immediately. 11. **Ihave also the cubed angel food cake and placed it into individual serving bowls. 12. Then I added the icecream on top. 13.
