This is very similar to Applebee's famous Oriental Chicken Salad. Simple and easy for home.
Ingredients:
4 cups romaine lettuce
1/2 head napa cabbage, shredded thin
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup margarine
12 ounces rice noodles, crip
1 cup almonds
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup balsamic wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons soy sauce
Directions:
1. Toss together lettuce, cabbage and sunflower seeds.
2. In skillet, brown and strain: margarine, rice noodles, almonds. Stir constantly until crisp. This only takes a few minutes.
3. Place noodle mixture on the bottom of salad bowl. Add greens. Top with dressing. Top with strips of grilled or fried chicken breast.
