Nantucket Cranberry Pie

Ingredients:
2 cups chopped cranberries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 1/2 cups sugar, divided
2 eggs
3/4 cup melted butter (1 1/2 sticks)
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon almond extract
Directions:
1. Combine cranberries, walnuts and 1/2 c sugar. Spread evenly into a 10 pie plate or springform pan.
2. Combine remaining sugar with remaining ingredients; beat until smooth. Pour over cranberries and walnuts in pie plate.
3. Bake in preheated 350F oven for 40 minutes.
