My Mom's chilli and by far the best Chili I've had.
Ingredients:
1 package chili powder
3 cups chopped mushrooms
1 can kidney bean
1 can deep brown beans or 1 can pork and beans
1 can tomato soup
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup chopped red pepper
2 chopped onions
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup chopped canned jalapenos or 1/4 cup fresh jalapeno (optional)
Directions:
1. Brown beef and drain the grease.
2. Add peppers and onions, chilli powder, salt and pepper.
3. Simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes to an hour.
