Nana Pam's Belgium Biscuits

My nana gave my mum this recipe. And she gave it to me. She uses these biscuits as bribes at work :) They are good. I also use the dough to make spice people because my kids prefer them to gingerbread men :)
Ingredients:
1/2 lb butter
1 lb flour
2 tablespoons golden syrup
2 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 tablespoon cocoa
1/2 lb sugar
1 egg
1 (8 ounce) packet raspberry jelly
Directions:
1. Cream butter an sugar.
2. Add egg and syrup. Beat well.
3. Add flour and other mixed dry ingredients.
4. Roll out thinly and cut into rounds.
5. Bake in moderate oven (160Âșc) for about 15-20 minutes.
6. Join 2 biscuits together with raspberry jam.
7. Ice with white icing and sprinkle with raspberry jelly crystals.
