Nana Lena's Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Moist, Dense, luscious coffee cake. Nana used to let me add chcoclate chips when we'd make it. My brother preferred the original cinnamon sugar filling, instead. Mmmmm I miss her!
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chocolate chips (or sugar and cinnamon mixed, to taste)
Directions:
1. Cream shortening and sugar together.
2. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together.
3. Add eggs to creamed mixture, one at a time, continuing to mix, on low speed.
4. Alternate adding the Sour Cream and Flour to the mixture.
5. Add Vanilla, and chocolate chips OR Cinnamon sugar mixture; stir well.
6. Nana made this in a bundt pan, greased and floured (or non-stick).
7. Bake at 350f for 45 mins to an hour. Done when toothpick inserted comes out clean.
