My Easiest Ultimate Tamale Casserole

my hubby and i love tamales and i had a few left over that had to be used so i combined two of our favorite dishes and came up with the ultimate casserole... my hubby and i just loved this and i will be making it over and over again.
Ingredients:
4 tamales (your favorite flavor, we chose green chile and cheese)
1 lb ground beef
1 (6 ounce) can mild green chilies
1 (12 ounce) can enchilada sauce (i used ortega mild enchilada sauce)
1 (12 ounce) bag of shredded colby-monterey jack cheese
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
Directions:
1. spray nonstick in an 8 x 8 square pan.
2. brown ground beef and add green chiles.
3. strain ground beef and chile mixture.
4. pour a small amount of enchilada sauce in the bottom of the pan.
5. lay the tamales in the bottom.
6. pour ground beef mixture on top of tamales.
7. pour the remaining enchilada sauce on top.
8. bake for 30 mins at 350 degrees.
9. add shredded cheese and bake for another 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted.
10. remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes.
11. serve with sour cream and enjoy.
