My Cuppa Tea (plain)

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tsp sugar (or more to taste)
  • 2 tsp assam tea leaves (ctc leaf)

Directions:

  1. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Add sugar and tea leaves.
  3. Bring to a boil again and reduce heat.
  4. Keep simmering for around 2 minutes.
  5. Add milk and bring to boil again.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for a minute.
  7. Take off the gas and strain into 2 cups.
  8. Enjoy some kadak chai (strong tea) Indian ishtyle and Fay ishtyle too.
