My Brother's Chili

This is a recipe that my brother John made famous at a restaurant he worked at in Florida. You can make it as spicy as you like.
Ingredients:
4 lbs. ground beef
28oz. crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce
1 green pepper, finely chopped
2 large onions , chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 16 oz. cans red kidney beans
12 oz beef stock
1 tbs chili powder
2 tbs. oregano
2 tbs cumin
1 tbs cayenne pepper
2 tsps. salt
Directions:
1. Cook beef, garlic, onion & green pepper in heavy skillet over medium heat,stirring frequently to break up meat. Cook until onions are soft and meat has lost it's pink color. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 45 minutes, stirring frequently
