Muzlu Sut (Milk and Banana Drink)

Similar to a fruit smoothie, this is a common Turkish drink which is kid-friendly and only takes a few minutes to make. From Binnur's Turkish Cookbook.
Ingredients:
1 ripe banana, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon ground almonds
1 teaspoon honey
1 cup skim milk
Directions:
1. Put the banana slices, honey, almond and 50 ml (3-4 tbsp) of milk into the blender. Blend for about 35-40 seconds. (you want a smooth mixture).
2. Pour in the rest of the milk and mix again for about 35-40 seconds. Pour into a glass and drink with the bubbles.
3. You can also add in a couple ice cubes.
