A mild and slightly sweet addition to your ham, turkey or roast beef. When served warm, it has a nice consistancy slightly thicker than a gravy. When chilled, it becomes slightly thicker and good to spread on a sandwich. I serve this warm with my holiday ham, then the next day spread on a cold ham sandwich with a sprinkle of dill. My super picky eater even loves this!
Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons dried mustard
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup distilled vinegar
1 tablespoon butter, add when finished
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except butter. Cook over medium - low heat until thick, about 15 minutes. Stirring constantly. When thickened, remove from heat and add butter. Stir till melted and serve.
