From a lovely charity cookbook to raise funds for Malawi, it was compiled by a lovely Scottish midwife and it is full of easy recipes that she and her family love. This is a simple recipe with not too many ingredients which gives lovely results. This is best served after a few hours chilling time and is delicious n toast or crackers.
Ingredients:
150 g butter
225 g mushrooms, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
25 g fresh breadcrumbs, white
110 g cream cheese, philadelphia
1 teaspoon lemon juice
nutmeg, pinch
salt
pepper
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a pan.
2. Add onion and mushroom, cook for 10 mins till softened.
3. Add remaining ingredients and liquidise.
4. Chill before serving.
