Mushroom Curry

An easy side dish to serve hot or cold. I prefer these cold even when served with a hot meal. A great do ahead dish.
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 medium onions, chopped
salt
pepper
4 -5 cloves garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 lb mushroom, quartered
1 lemon, juice of
Directions:
1. Heat oil at medium-high and fry onions until brown, about 6 minutes.
2. Reduce heat to medium and add next 5 ingredients.
3. Fry for 1/2 minute.
4. Add mushrooms and stir 6 minutes or until cooked.
5. Add lemon juice.
6. May be served hot or cold.
