Rice and dal.
Ingredients:
1 cup rice, white, medium-grain raw, enriched
3/4 cup mung beans, mature seeds raw
1 tsp ghee
1 tbsp light olive oil
1 tsp salt
2 dried red chilli peppers
1 tsp dried cumin seeds
Directions:
1. Fry red chilli and cumin seeds in ghee and olive oil.
2. Add asfoetida to the oil.
3. Follow with washed rice and mung dal and lightly mix everything .
4. Add 3-4 cups of water and salt to taste.
5. Boil till everything is cooked
