Very tasty. Very quick to prepare. An olde English recipe courtesy of Bangers n'Mash cookbook from the files of the Garratt family in Mississauga, Canada. A warm winter drink.
Ingredients:
1 quart apple cider
6 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks (two inch)
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil, simmer five minutes.
3. Strain.
4. Serve hot in mugs or cups.
