Muhammara – Turkish Walnut Pomegranate Dip

A delicious dip for easy Summer time entertaining.
Ingredients:
1 cup walnuts, toasted (pecans can be used)
2 tbsp pomegranate molasses
2 large roasted red peppers
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup dried bread crumbs
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp chili flakes
3 oz sun dried tomatoes in oil
1/2 tsp salt
Directions:
1. Put the toasted walnuts and all other ingredients in a blender and blend into a smooth dip.
2. If the mixture is too thick to blend, add a few tablespoons of water to the blender.
3. Serve with warm pita bread or vegetables.
