Ingredients:
brown in skillet
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. jimmy dean's sage bulk breakfast sausage
saute vegetables in meat drippings
1 1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
1 med. jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
3-4 cloves garlic, finely minced of pureed
spices
1/4 cup chili powder
2 tsp. ground cumin
1 tbsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 cups red wine
tabasco sauce (optional)
remaining ingredients
48 oz. jar randall's pinto beans
three 14.5 oz. cans diced tomatoes
6 oz. can tomato paste
Directions:
1. Brown meats in skillet, remove and set aside.
2. Saute Vegetables in meat drippings.
3. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker and simmer on low for up to 12 hours.
