Mrs. Brown's Chinese Noodle Salad

I had this at the Hope Lodge. Everyone loved it. It's the best Chinese cabbage salad I have ever had. The lady that made it is a great cook and a very smart cookie. Glad you were with us Joyce.
Ingredients:
1 head napa cabbage
5 chopped green onions
1/2 chopped green pepper
2 ounces ramen noodles
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup chopped cashews
1 jicama
1/2 cup mandarin orange
1 cup oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
1. Cut and chop all vegetables.
2. Peel jicama before chopping into small cubes.
3. Brown sunflower seeds before adding in 1 tablespoon butter.
4. Break up ramen small.
5. Mix in large bowl.
6. Mix the dressing; pour over the salad and toss.
7. Not as good next day-noodles get soggy.
