Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Slice the mozzarella into finger length sticks, thickness as desired
  2. Set up 3 bowls, one with flour, one with egg, one with the bread crumbs.
  3. Coat well each piece of cheese first with flour, then egg, then bread
  4. Crumbs
  5. Place sticks immediately into the hot oil to fry for a minute or two on each side or until coating is golden brown
  6. Drain on paper towel lined platter
  7. This is pan fried and oil should be an inch or two to afford best frying.
  8. Cheese should be melted inside but not burst through
  9. Serve with marinara sauce or whatever you like
  10. Note: oil should be hot enough to fry but not to hot to burn or cause cheese to melt through
