Mountain Dew Pound Cake

This is actaully like my Grandmother's 7 Up pound cake but I replaced it with my Husband's addiction, Mountain dew
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups butter
3 cups flour
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
1 cup mountain dew soda, at room temperature
1 teaspoon lemon extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 cup lemon zest
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325degrees F.
2. Grease and flour bundt pan.
3. . Cream butter and sugar until creamy.
4. Add eggs one at a time until blended.
5. Alternately add flour with the Mountain dew, ending with flour. Add the extracts and zest and mix thoroughly.
6. Pour batter into prepared pan.
7. . Bake for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
8. , or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
9. Remove from oven and cool in the pan for 20 minutes. Remove from pan and cool thoroughly.
