The mouli gadgets were innovative machines of their time. now antique relics, obsolete but still efficient and well made. it is rare to find one for sale. and rarer still to find one with an original recipe booklet. Read more . i have the MOULI julienne (with a set of extra discs, if anyone is interested), the MOULI grater, and the (newly purchased) MOULI king-size salad maker wtih recipe book. the book states the retail price as $4.98, but i can tell you it is three times that now, new unused. if you dont have a MOULI julienne or MOULI king-size salad maker you can substitute with a common hand grater and kithen knife. Ingredients:
one cup fresh grated carrots, 12 marshmallows, 2 tart apples, 1/2 cup nut meats, 1/2 cup mayonnaise. |
Directions:
1. Wash, scrape and grate carrots with fine shredder disc. slice apples with chopper disc. chop nut meats with chopper disc. quarter marshmallows, with kitchen scissors. mix and blend with salad dressing. serve very cold on crisp lettuce. serves 6.
