This is a great recipe. It can be made in the oven as well. Ingredients:
8 chicken thighs |
salt |
ground black pepper |
1/4 cup olive oil |
6 cups thinly sliced onions |
1 tablespoon minced garlic |
2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans diced tomatoes |
2 tablespoons honey |
1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon saffron |
1/2 cup slivered almonds |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in Crock pot. Cook on low for 8 hours 2. Serve over couscous. 3. enjoy! |
