A great pumpkin bread that tastes more like a dense cake. This is a huge hit at holidays.
Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups sifted flour
3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup oil
2/3 cup water
2 cups pumpkin
Directions:
1. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
2. combine wet ingredients in a seperate bowl.
3. stir wet ingredients into the dry.
4. pour batter into 3- 9x5 inch greased loaf pans.
5. Bake in a 350 degree preheated oven 1hr or until a cake tester comes out clean.
6. cool before slicing.
