This is the pie crust my mom always uses when she makes holiday pies.
Ingredients:
3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups shortening
salt
1 egg
5 tablespoons cold water
1 teaspoon vinegar
Directions:
1. Blend the first three ingredients together. Beat the last three ingredients together with a rotary beater. Mix this with the first ingredients. Roll into a pie crust.
