This recipe came out of my mistake in reading a recipe in a hurry that I had never tried. I discovered I did not have the right soup for the recipe and I had incorrectly read that the recipe called for french fried onions not frozen onion rings. I was a little nervous when I served it to my husband and 3 small kids, 5 years, 3 1/2 years and 2 years old. Needless to say my family really enjoyed this and said I needed to make it again. My son told me that this dish was really good even if I did mess it up. I am posting it here because my husband is afraid I won't remember how to fix it the next time. Hope your family enjoys too!
Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can french style green beans, drained
0.5 (7 ounce) can french-fried onions
Directions:
1. Place chicken in greased casserole dish (9x13) and cover with soup.
2. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
3. Place green beans in casserole dish with chicken.
4. Bake for 15 minutes longer.
5. Remove from oven and add french fried onions and bake 5 minutes longer, make sure not to burn onions.
