Moms German Potato Salad

Another favorite recipe from my Mother. Passed down from the German side of the family. Not health food but it sure tastes good. *Caution* contains raw egg.
Ingredients:
12 med red potatoes, cooked, cut in 1 size pieces
1 lb bacon
2 onions
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. sugar
1 cup vinegar
Directions:
1. Fry bacon until very crispy. Drain bacon on paper towels then crumble. Reserve 1/2 cup of bacon drippings.
2. Combine potatoes, bacon, onion in a bowl.
3. Combine bacon drippings, eggs, salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar and blend well. I use a deep narrow bowl and an immersion blender. Pour dressing over potatoes and refrigerate overnight. Tossing/stirring occasionally.
