Mom's Crock-Pot Vegetable Soup

This soup is great served with rolls. Add frozen mixed vegetables the last 2 hours *** must cook on high to get veg done
Ingredients:
1 lb boneless round steak (stew meat)
14 ounces diced tomatoes, undrained
3 cups water
2 medium potatoes, diced (i use more)
2 medium onions, diced
3 celery ribs, sliced
2 carrots, sliced
3 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon garlic
1 1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
Directions:
1. Mix all EXCEPT frozen vegetables .
2. Slow cook on High for 8 hours (for a crock pot that heats faster use the Medium setting).
3. Can add 1 1/2 Cups frozen mixed vegetable for the last 2 hours. It's great even without these.
