Mom's Classic Cranberry Sauce

Never eat canned cranberry sauce again! This is so easy. Serve it room temp or cool. Leftovers freeze well.
Ingredients:
12 ounces fresh cranberries
3/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons water
Directions:
1. Dissolve sugar in boiling water.
2. Add berries.
3. Cover and bring to simmering.
4. Let berries pop, about 10 minutes.
5. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate.
