Mom's Beef Stew

One of my favorite meals growing up, I've adjusted this to make it easier for todays cooks to put together.
Ingredients:
2 lbs beef chuck, cubed
3 cups water
4 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 teaspoon thyme
3 tablespoons ketchup
1 1/2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
2 bay leaves
parsley
1 (16 ounce) bag frozen stew vegetables
Directions:
1. Season meaet with salt and pepper.
2. roll in flour and brown in oil.
3. Add water, bouliion cubes, and seasonings.
4. Simmer for minimum of 2 hours.
5. Add more water if it becomes too thick.
6. One hour before serving, add vegetables and simmer.
