Mom's Bean Salad

This is a really quick and easy bean salad that my mother invented. You can use the beans listed or substitute your favorite variety.
Ingredients:
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can small red beans
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can kidney beans
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can garbanzo beans
2 roma tomatoes, halved and sliced
1 medium red onion, halved and thinly sliced
1/2 cup cilantro, coarsely chopped
1 small can diced green chili peppers (such as ortega)
1 large lime, juiced
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper, to taste
*you can substitute black beans for either the red or kidney beans
Directions:
1. Drain and rinse the beans. Put in a large bowl; add all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate for a couple of hours at least, best if left overnight. Garnish with tomato wedges, if desired.
