Mexican food, Delicious! In Mexico, however, molletes are bolillos (similar to French bread) made into an open-face sandwich of beans and cheese.
Ingredients:
1 roll, french
1/2 cup beans
30 grams of gouda cheese
1/2 cup tomato, diced
2 tablespoon of onion, diced
1 tablespoon of peppers, hot chili, green diced
Directions:
1. A mollete, is made with a bolillo or french rolls cut longitudinally. Over each half of bread, you spread beans and a slice of chihuahua cheese, but gouda has less fat. It is then introduced in the oven until the cheese melts.
2. Molletes in Mexico are usually served with salsa or pico de gallo. That's the mix of diced tomato, onion, and chili Molletes may also be topped with sliced ham, chorizo, bacon or mushrooms.
3. If you don't want it to be so hot, you can remove the seeds from the peppers before using them. Be careful not to touch your face afterwards if you touched the seeds with your bare hands.
